Sami Labs Limited has received the Golden award of Excellence in Exports from the Government of Karnataka on the 1st of August 2006. The award for the year 2005-06, in the category of Agro and Porcessed Foods, was received by Dr. R K Bammi, Director of Sami Labs from Mr. B S Yediyurappa, Deputy Chief Minister of the State of Karnataka. Sami Labs bagged this honour for having exported extracts of Coleus Forskholli, other herbal extracts, spice extracts, spice oleoresins and fine chemicals.
